In Nevada, one in six women and girls between the ages of 12 and 44 lives below the Federal Poverty Line.

ISSA, the worldwide cleaning association, launched the End Period Poverty campaign in October 2022 to end period poverty and advance period dignity. the campaign is guided by the belief that menstrual care solutions should be as available in away-from-home restrooms as soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Earlier this year, the program received the 2024 Power of Associations Summit Award, the highest recognition of associations that make signficant contributions to society through their innovative and effective programs.
